View Larger Image and Additional Photos of Bianca TresoldiAbout Bianca Tresoldi : First I am a woman, a human being who has a duty to help others and the area in which I live, as best I can, then I became a lighting designer.
The combination of my education, training and profession have helped me to create two initiatives of which I am very proud.
The first project is called Re-think, Re-cycle, Re-lighting and it is a social project that I created for the APIL association of which I belong. The other project is for the territory and precisely to safeguard the small villages overlooking Lake Maggiore and is the Light Festival Lago Maggiore.
Design and art for me are the essence of my life.
Design for me is the visual translation of a sensitive person who catch current situations; social behaviors, technologies, materials and production methods to create an object suitable for the moment we live in and which at the same time can improve the world.
Art is the ability to express something, even in an unconventional way, through words, sounds, images, ... it is the elevation of feelings, impressions, people, objects, nature. Art improves our lives, it makes us reflect on the world around us, we can't do without it, it's like the air we breathe.
