FS: Could you please tell us more about your art and design background? What made you become an artist/designer? Have you always wanted to be a designer?
GDA: My love for art history started in high school, this lead me to falll in love with the idea to build images and content through graphic design.

FS: Can you tell us more about your company / design studio?
GDA: I like having a young team and filtering my experience with their "innocent" eyes, this is the combination that leads us to make successful projects.

FS: What kinds of works do you like designing most?
GDA: Our main expertise is food, although we have seen that the experience made in the food industry and in large retailers becomes more interesting if applied to other contexts.

FS: What is your favorite material / platform / technology?
GDA: Everything that is eco friendly.

FS: When do you feel the most creative?
GDA: When I work in a team, the presence of others stimulates me or when I travel so that I can take break free from everyday mansions.

FS: Which aspects of a design do you focus more during designing?
GDA: I focus more on the final customer, I want to be understood mainly by those who have to choose, not by the intermediary.

FS: What makes a design successful?
GDA: At the end of the day, the success of a product.

FS: When judging a design as good or bad, which aspects do you consider first?
GDA: If what is expressed in the design is coherent with the product but also unexpected.

FS: How do you think the "design field" is evolving? What is the future of design?
GDA: My hope is to be able to design onto more ecological and sustainable materials.

FS: Where does the design inspiration for your works come from? How do you feed your creativity? What are your sources of inspirations?
GDA: Every time in different places, depending on what I have to look for.

FS: Where do you live? Do you feel the cultural heritage of your country affects your designs? What are the pros and cons during designing as a result of living in your country?
GDA: Definitely, as I live in Italy, but also the ability to grasp the stimuli i encounter in the countries I visit.

FS: What are your suggestions to companies for working with a designer? How can companies select a good designer?
GDA: Test designers by setting limits without pretending that they can design freely, because I am a strong believer that limits usually sharpen ingenuity.

FS: Could you please share some pearls of wisdom for young designers? What are your suggestions to young, up and coming designers?
GDA: Feed yourselves with visual culture every day through books, exhibitions, films and art in general.

FS: What is your "golden rule" in design?
GDA: "The chief enemy of creativity is 'good' sense" Pablo Picasso.

FS: What skills are most important for a designer?
GDA: Lateral thinking
