| DESIGN NAME: Blue Lagoon Iceland PRIMARY FUNCTION: Packaging INSPIRATION: Unveiling Blue Lagoon Iceland, a rejuvenating skincare line drawing inspiration from the captivating allure of the timeless Icelandic landscape, connecting users to experience the cohesive visual narrative of a skincare ritual. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The graphics seamlessly marry sustainability with modern aesthetics, encapsulating the essence of this iconic destination through the fluidity of watercolors. The packaging integrates transparent holographic base material with Fresnel lens effect, enhancing both depth and pearlescent shimmering reminiscent of the tranquil azure waters and the mineral-rich surroundings. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Transparent holographic paper with a Fresnel lens effect is used as the base material. The holographic transfer film is applied to the paper stock to create the Fresnel lens effect, resulting in fully recyclable Fresnel lens paper. The graphics are then printed onto the Fresnel lens paper using CMYK and white (W) to achieve layers of color. The result is a combination of the fluidity of layered watercolors with the depth of the lens effect.
