Packaged Liquor

INSPIRATION:
"Mountain and Water" Baijiu takes the different drinking states of consumers as its creative inspiration. By combining the artistic conception of "mountain is mountain", "mountain is not mountain", and "mountain is still mountain", consumers can gain a deeper understanding of the gains and losses in life through the drinking experiences of "tasting", "tipsy", and "drunk".

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This is a sauce-flavor liquor packaging Different from other liquor packaging is: one. the wine bottle shape anthropomorphic, wine box shape skeuomorphic, wine bottle and wine box, the combination of people and things, better in line with the meaning of the project theme two. the opening structure and opening method are different, and the material is different. Three. reduce the process and printing, reduce production costs, rational packaging, pay attention to sustainable applications

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
Tear the seal, open the package, the bottle stands in the middle of the outer box, like a wise man, sitting in the middle of a leaf boat, the picture is full of Zen, has a good display effect.

PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in Changsha in June 2022, was completed in Changsha in February 2023, and won the Gold Award in the American Muse Packaging category Design in April 2023

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
The bottle body is made of glass material, sprayed with ceramic ink, the text and local pattern in the middle are plated silver, the bottle lid is made of walnut wood combined with wood cork, and the bottle cap is affixed with self-adhesive stickers. The wine box shall be mounted with density fiberboard mounted with dark blue special paper, and the seal of the base shall be scalded with red gold. The lining shall be lined with a light blue velvet sponge and sealed with a self-adhesive sticker. The red part of the sticker shall be cold-pressed.

RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
Research type: Explore the relationship between traditional liquor culture and traditional Chinese culture. The brand has no way, which is in line with the peaceful and moderate way of traditional Chinese culture and the way of harmony between nature and man. Seeing the mountains and the water corresponds to the exchanges between people, the exchanges between countries, and harmony without difference, and the United States and the United States Research target: Intellectuals and successful people who love traditional Chinese culture, mainly male consumers.

CHALLENGE:
The most difficult part of this design is to deal with the relationship between the product and the brand, the relationship between the brand and the wine, the relationship between the product name and the wine, the relationship between the Chinese culture and the wine, and the relationship between the wine and people. Physical production will choose glass materials, compared to ceramic materials, glass materials can be a good expression of detail, while reducing production costs

PROFILE:
In the busy city of Changsha, a friend of mine runs a liquor distributor. He is not only a helmsman in the sea of commerce, but also a guardian full of love for traditional Chinese culture. By chance, he entrusted me with a special task - to design a liquor package that not only carries the traditional Chinese cultural values, but also conveys a positive attitude toward life. In order to capture the deep connection between traditional Chinese culture and baijiu, I immersed myself in the ocean of history and culture, searching for elements that could touch the heart. Finally, in the Song Dynasty Weixin Zen master's sentence "see the mountains and see the water", I found the inspiration for the design. This is not only a realm, but also a philosophy of life, which tells us to look into the beauty of nature and experience the true meaning of life. So, I injected this concept into the upcoming white wine packaging design. The shape of the bottle is like an old fisherman, sitting quietly among the mountains and rivers, which reminds people of the wise man fishing by the stream. The bottle cap is made of natural wood and covered with a cap shaped like a bamboo hat, which retains the traditional flavor and adds a touch of chic ingenuity. In order to make this quiet and dynamic picture more vivid, I used a linear relief process on the bottle body. The majesty of the mountain, the tranquility of the lake and the length of the reflection are intertwined, which not only enhances the tactile experience of consumers, but also visually interprets a harmonious dialogue between dynamic and static. In this packaging design, I strive to capture and convey the combination of classical Chinese aesthetics and modern aesthetics. It is not only a container used to hold wine, but also a piece of art that can make people stop to appreciate. When consumers open this bottle of wine, they are not only sharing a drink, but also savoring a culture, an emotion, and a life wisdom from the ancient wise. The sales channel of this liquor is positioned in group buying and retail, whether it is a choice for corporate welfare, or a good product for personal wine collection, it can be perfectly adapted. It is not just a bottle of wine, it is a symbol of culture, is the inheritance of traditional Chinese values, is a soul exchange. Behind this design, I have invested a lot of effort and emotion, hoping that it can not only become a successful product, but also become a carrier of traditional Chinese culture, so that more people can feel the depth and beauty of Chinese culture through this liquor. With the birth of this liquor, it carries not only mellow wine, but also our respect and inheritance of traditional culture. Every bottle of wine is a story, every tasting is a journey, taking us through the long river of time, back to that simple and profound era, and experiencing the wisdom and tranquility of "seeing the mountains and the water".
