| DESIGN NAME: Guangzhou Poly Longyue PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Center INSPIRATION: This project inspires by the essential of "light". Space constructs by geometric form.Light can through their negative space to connect with others to make a visual linkage. Besides,the heaven light also make space feel sacred and quiet.And there is a installation art behind the bar.It consists of more than 18000 acrylic sticks.When the different refractions are produced,and the color changes. Meanwhile the lounge area is nearby the water feature.The ivory white make an elegant atmosphere,and well presented the feeling of the light,reveals a static beauty to lining the subject. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The project is located in Guangzhou, Located south of the Tropic of Cancer, Guangzhou has plenty of sunlight every year, and the sun changes rapidly on a day in summer. And this is what lightened us when we investigated the site in the early stage. In addition, the perimeter of the site is mainly protected green space, and the building boundary also has a waterscape. We hope to intervene in a low-key way and make use of natural changes to bring richness to the design. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The space uses a combination of natural and artificial lights. Natural light influenced with the change of time, either bright or dark, while the effect of artificial light is relatively stable. Make use of the characteristics of the two to form an obvious contrast of strong and weak light to enhance the drama of the space. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: Guangzhou November 2021. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: color gradient acrylic, stained glass, lighting canopy, glass brick SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: design area 690 m2 floor height 5m TAGS: Light , the light, color gradient acrylic, stained glass, glass brick RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In order to achieve the sunny effect, the designer chose the element of light according to the architectural form of the project and achieved the design effect through the introduction of light and the different changes of guiding lighting in the space. CHALLENGE: The collocation and construction of transparent materials, translucent materials and opaque materials. Transparent materials should be installed again to eliminate the influence of installation parts and glue, so as to achieve a completely transparent effect.
