PRIMARY FUNCTION:
Fine Art

INSPIRATION:
So-Jeok-Hwa is the task expressing the shape of the leaf. Like flower. Used ballpoint pen. The ballpoint pen is one of the most common record tools. Always find a ballpoint pen, whether write a diary, write a letter, do a graffiti, write a note. Drawing a picture is the act of recording a story or emotion, just like writing a note or writing a letter. Ballpoint pen is the best material for recording and conveying real story.

UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
So-Jeok-Hwa is an imaginary flower created in the process of healing the wounds of the heart. All the red flowers. It represents truly weak people who, apart from gender, have to hide in prejudice, criticism and contempt for the world. Care about flowers. Only when the flowers bloom. It's just a leaf until the flowers bloom. In society too. So-Jeok-Hwa was created in a small flower bed. October. The early winter leaves, dried and eaten by worms, looked like people full of pain. The wounds and suffering from bullying and violence remain to the end. It's so hard and hard to get along with people. So, started drawing the leaves, like flowers. Like comforting. Talk about through So-Jeok-Hwa is... No one is abandoned and ignored. Everyone is precious and worthy of love. It is to want a society in which difference and value are respected. It is a flower with a heartfelt heart that gives them true comfort, warmth and comfort.

OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
One person who appreciated So-Jeok-Hwa viewed : - I used to say that I lived through a struggle-like, war-like time, and I was comforted by pictures and writings that sounded like gifts.Thank you. Thank you for telling me that you love me. So-Jeok-Hwa is a work that heals the pain of all those who have been hurt.

PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY:
So-Jeok-Hwa was drew as a ballpoint pen, but most don't think of it as a ballpoint pen, because it uses it as like paint. The thin lines of the ballpoint pen are collected and overlapped to make a face and express precisely with various lines. So-Jeok-Hwa was created in October 2014 and has been working steadily ever since. The hardest part of the past seven years has been many prejudices. - If don't draw on the canvas and don't use paint, it's not a picture. - Of course, there were many galleries and people who did not have prejudices, so come to this point, but still quite a lot of art people do not appreciate it very well. Now, trying other ways of working, such as painting and up-cycling, but the ballpoint pen work will be steady.

SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
Monami 153 ballpoint pens are like pencils because of the shape of hexagonal columns. That's why always have to check the state of the ballpoint pen, whether it can be used like a pencil or not. In the process, it is divided into a main ballpoint pen and a sub ballpoint pen, and the sub ballpoint pen is used for filling the background, otherwise it is a necessary process because the paper is damaged due to the sharpness of the ballpoint pen. Most of them sketch with pencils and draw with ballpoint pens, but sketches are done with ballpoint pens. It is not the purpose of drawing the same, but to capture the feelings felt from the object. The reason why fill the background with a lot of lines is that give a more mature feeling to the picture than to paint with a brush at once. At first it took from a month to a maximum of nine months to complete. But since become accustomed to drawing without erasers, technically, time has been shortened, but instead had more time to think and think about it, to contain authenticity.Painting is drawn by hand, but sometimes thoughts become pictures.
