| DESIGN NAME: Banboo Windows PRIMARY FUNCTION: Sales Office INSPIRATION: Yuanye is the first monograph in China to comprehensively explain the principles of gardening,The designers translate the scenes in the book into modern space and extracts the important landscape elements bamboo, which could bend but not frack. And even if it fracks, it won t break. In Chinese culture, it represents a literati style with strength in gentleness, combined with the traditional Chinese court etiquette and lyrical scenery and created a modern mansion with literary elegance and orient UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The designers extracts the important landscape elements bamboo, combined with the traditional Chinese court etiquette and lyrical scenery and created a modern mansion with literary elegance and oriental courtyard order. This project has set up a variety of functional spaces such as the reception area, display area, conversation area, reading area, children's area, etc. It builds a modern humane and cultural space with oriental spirit and atmosphere. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The reading area is presented in a semi-open style. The bookcase surrounded by three sides provides a peaceful and comfortable atmosphere for the reading. The traditional Chinese furniture has a thick oriental background. The VIP room guarantees privacy and gives the space a more diversified functionality. Elegant furniture exudes the East Classical feeling, embellished with gray-blue soft decoration fabric, creating a modern and diversified space with a timeless and elegant oriental feeling. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in March 2019 in Xiamen,China and finished in November 2019 in Xiamen,China, and was exhibited in Xiamen,China in November 2009. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The light and shadow gaps of the grid penetrate and interweave with each other. The grid is like a bamboo, as if sunlight dapples through the bamboo forest. The reception hall uses marble to highlight the calm temperament of the space and enriches the levels of the space. The warmth of wood and the coolness of marble material are balanced, and the scenery is landscaped, which blends nature and humanity. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 1200sqm TAGS: bamboo, Yuanye, Chinese culture, grid, Chinese gardens RESEARCH ABSTRACT: Yuanye (art of garden-building) has vivid description of the building of Chinese gardens and presents the far-reaching artistic conception of Chinese gardens. As decribed in the book, Mood and Scenery, Meaning and Realm are inextricably linked with each other. Yuanye is the first monograph in China to comprehensively explain the principles of gardening, which is inseparable from China's long tradition of gardening, and reflects the highest state of human-nature relations. CHALLENGE: Chinese gardens emphasize the progressive court etiquette of layers and the extensive use of wooden grids. It has an orderly arrangement of grids density, revolving access and secluded winding paths, creating abundant sensory feelings in the dimension of time and space. From the perspective of denseness, transition to opposite scenery, it treats each functional space as a courtyard, and cleverly use the bridge as the connection between the courtyards (functional spaces).
