| DESIGN NAME: Wuhuan M809bk PRIMARY FUNCTION: Walking Sneakers INSPIRATION: M809BK is inspired by shoe pullers, and geometric elements symbolizing stability. Its slip on design allows users to put on or take off the shoes more conveniently. Viewed from the rear, the outsole presents a stable triangular shape. The outsole pattern blends triangles and rectangles. The heel counter and the rear part of the outsole use arc shapes, while the upper adopts a trapezoidal shape. Those geometric elements enrich the overall design, and functionally enhance stability and comfort. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: M809BK, a pair of walking shoes, features convenience, comfort, and safety, aiming to bring users a healthier, more confident, and more vibrant life. Its slip on design, inspired by shoe pullers, enables users to easily and quickly put on or take off the shoes without bending over, which is adaptable to different scenarios, and prevents injuries that may arise from such movements. The soft upper, arch support design, and anti-slip pattern provide excellent comfort and all-around protection. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The heel inspired by shoe pullers introduces a slip on design, allowing users to easily put on or take off shoes without bending over or using additional tools. The outsole with a stable trapezoidal structure has a larger contact area with the ground, offering excellent support and reducing the risk of rolling ankles.This also evenly distributes pressure exerted on the sole of the foot to alleviate fatigue. The full-length rubber outsole boasts the staggered wedged pattern for slip resistance. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The product was developed in January 2023 in Shanghai, and launched in December 2023 in China. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The wide last addresses foot pinching users may experience while wearing shoes. The rear half utilizes mesh fabric, polyurethane and high-density EVA to well support the arch, whereby even users with flat arches can walk effortlessly. The highly breathable one piece Flyknit upper and soft cowhide ensure light weight, and effectively maintain the shoe’s shape to prevent it from widening or deforming. Premium materials lead to enhanced softness, breathability, and slip resistance, making the shoes suitable for diverse scenarios.
