FAQ Entry #252

#252: Regarding the Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design Award, can you please tell me the details of the competition? For example, how many designs are required? Are the designs supposed to be presented in an illustration format or a photo of them as clothing already? Is there any specific theme, concept or audience for the designs?

For the Fashion, Apparel and Garment Design Award, you can submit both illustrations, renders and photographs of your designs. In most cases, photographs of finished garments are usually much better when taken by a professional photographer and a fashion model, however we remind that you should have image and model-release forms signed, permissions granted by the photographer and the model for publishing. For a single fashion design nomination, up to five images could be submitted. If you submit a single design for your nomination, you could have 5 photos of the item from different views and also additional action shots and close-ups. If you decide to submit a fashion design set instead of a single design, in this case, under single nomination you can upload 5 different images, and even more for the PDF. There are not any theme restrictions. The audience is up to you.
