| DESIGN NAME: Modrava chair and table PRIMARY FUNCTION: Chair and Table INSPIRATION: - UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Modrava chair and table are designed from a 14 mm-thick coil-shaped steel bar that is convoluted into its final shape. Individual connections are welded, whilst the final shape is achieved through heat galvanization. The chair is designed not only as an object of utility, but also as an art solitaire. The further potential shape and utility of the conference table is also based on this principle. These elements may be applied both in the interior and exterior. The Modrava chair and table are recorded in the Register of Industrial Samples under no. 001790049-0001 and no. 001790049-0002. The Modrava chair and table were introduced onto the market in 2010. Its design combines product originality with function in the market environment. The draft layouts were designed so that the table and chair reflect the aim of the product on the market, the customer target group, the method of sale, and the retail strategy. The attractive design and presentation are enticing for customers and easily separate them from the competition. It is based on the notion that the final customer prefers superior quality and original design. These products are presented at trade fairs both in the Czech market as well as abroad. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The overall architectural and process layout in the specific area is an original and functional solution. Its customer-friendly design, individuality, effectiveness, and aesthetic appearance are also valued. A clear example of this is the delimitation of area in the region of the Modrava village and the Šumava National Park Administration authority. Modrava chairs and tables are prominent mainly through their unique originality, universal application, easy maintenance, and modern design. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Galvanized steel SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The structural design and layout of the Modrava chair and table are based on a 14 mm thick, galvanized steel rod. A progressive but very effective concept was selected for production, which has proved to be both functionally efficient, as well as aesthetic – individual joints are welded into a smooth monolithic unit. It is contemporaneously a very demanding design from a production technology aspect.
