| DESIGN NAME: s_Tile PRIMARY FUNCTION: Tiles (thk. 3mm) with information and photoluminescent signs INSPIRATION: in public place like metro, train station, airport UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: My tiles have only 3mm thickness and are in three big format: 1x1m, 2x1m, 3x1m. Tiles have different signs for public places and these signs are made with photoluminescent pigment. Tiles can be personalized with personal signs. During the day the signs are visible through the surface texture; during the night photoluminescent pigment emitting accumulated light. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: - PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project started in October 2009 in Milano during Lab. Sintesi Finale in Industrial Design Course at Politecnico di Milano.
